# Data Collection Grants Round 2023 Wishlist **XATU** Xatu is an Ethereum network monitoring tool. It's divided into two parts: a central server/data collection component and a sentry tool that forwards the collected data. The central server then passes on the data into a click house database for easier access. We are seeking plugins/visuals to be built on top. - Build additional tools that can plug into the data pipeline: https://github.com/ethpandaops/xatu/ - Visuals using the existing Xatu data pipeline - Using Xatu data to define a healthy baseline (i.e, block arrival times, attestation arrival times, latency between events across p2p layer), Made available as reusable playbooks/runbooks and a writeup **Testnets** - Reusable runbooks/playbooks to compare certain data points between the healthy mainnet baseline (defined above) and feature testnets (Helping us gauge the impact features could have on the network) - Updated Testnet homepage - Combined fork monitor - DVT Testing of latency, MEV, and cluster size - Wrapper for hive to launch local testnets **Data Collection** - Improve CL data indexing, i.e. Dashboards for CL data - Using ZK for data collection allows validators to provide information while staying anonymous - Public and Open source database of ABI's - Open-source smart contract labeling and tables - Improved Validator crawling - Data indexing software - Research and publishing standardized data models (chain-wide data) Public data sets
