# Berlinterop perf * Number of commits on `performance` branches: **58** * Added 8 new tests (Json lib stress test, emtpty payload, heavy ECAdd from Marius) * (On branch) added support for EEST zkEVM tests (28 test suites - 100+ newPayloads) * Nimbus-EL contribution to gas-benchmarks! * Perfnet prevented from major issues which were unable to be spotted on benchmarks purely. **GOAL** from Monday: *EL clients above 20Mgas/s *[**ACHIEVED**] Monday VS Friday worst **WITHOUT** Modexp: ![](https://notes.ethereum.org/_uploads/H10a5oFmxl.png) ![](https://notes.ethereum.org/_uploads/rJxqksjYXel.png) Monday VS Friday worst **WITH** Modexp: ![](https://notes.ethereum.org/_uploads/H10TKoY7ll.png) ![](https://notes.ethereum.org/_uploads/B1sZ5iYmxg.png) Major improvement achieved - more data being collected. Tooling/Dashboards/Perfnets will be only improved over time and new tests to be kept added. # How about 45/60/100 MGas? Data proves that 45MGas should be safe limit for now with a need for a small tweaks on EL side to have 60MGas. 100MGas requires Modexp repricing and potentially ECAdd + rest of tests to be executed and verified + XEN to be considered.
