# The Ethereum Sharding Meeting #2 - Berlin ![](https://notes.ethereum.org/uploads/upload_1d68e64bb42dad6987b41fb609ba5436.JPG) As a parasitic conference of [Ethereum Client Dev Conference (ECDC) 2018](https://hackmd.io/s/rkHu8MjAM), Ethereum Foundation research team organized the second sharding meeting after ECDC on July 1st, 2018. We invited sharding client implementers and researchers to join the discussions of cutting-edge Ethereum layer one protocol scalability technology. Thanks to all the attendees and live streaming viewers!
